Google Analytics In-Page Analytics

1. Login into your Google Analytics Account

2. Click on Behavior icon from Left

3. Click on In-Page Analytics option from the Behavior Dropdown menu

Note:
The Embedded mode does not by default work with the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. To get the exact view you need to download “the Page Analytics Chrome Extension” into your browser.

4. After installation of "The Page Analytics Chrome Extension" you need to try logging out for all of your Google accounts and logging back into your main analytics account.

5. Follow the same steps (from 1 to 3) and wait for a minute to upload the page.

6. A dialog box will be open with the message of "Problem loading In-Page Analytics", as given in the below snapshot:

7. Click on the "Load in Full View" button given on the dialog box to view the In-Page Analytics metrics.

8. Now you can see a control bar given at the top of the page, including Page views, Avg. Time on Page, Bounce Rate, etc. you will also see bubbles that indicate the links users clicked on your web page.

9. If you go over a bubble you will be able to see the percentage with numeric value for clicks on the link.

10. You can also apply "Color Scale" feature (given at the top of the page) to bubbles to see different value in different color.

11. You can also choose custom range for a comparison with previous period or year.

12. From the top left side you can also choose different segments as per your requirement.
