Once you install the code then you can easily track where your visitors are coming from. Which ad or which platform is generating you the most or the least amount of traffic or it can tell you whether the video is working better than your picture ads and plenty of other helpful data like that. Google Analytics will also let you analyze how many people are bouncing off of your website and where they're bouncing off so is it on the homepage? or Is it on the landing page for your product or are they bouncing off at the checkout cart?
That way you can find out what has to be improved on the website so you can keep people going down that funnel all the way to purchase it and as I said before you see statistics about your visitors such as their age range, country, time and whether they're men or women and other stats like that way you can target the simplest majority demographic and hopefully grow your website.
